If anyone is about, my comedy play is on in Cardiff @ Chapter on Thurs & Friday 7.30 (with stand-up support both nights) - http://www.chapter.org/19440.html
The whole point of it is to show that theatre can be about funny stuff too. We're telling a story but the whole focus is on enjoyment rather than holding a mirror up to life and all that malarkey.
We'll be about in the bar afterwards too, if any of you fine folks are there. I'll be looking important - especially in sight of my Mum.

Cheers Dolly - I've stayed away from it so far, so no idea how we're getting on. The guys putting it on seem pretty optimistic though - fingers crossed!
It went BRILLIANTLY!!! Get in - laughing start to finish (and helped by the awesome stand-up we had on to warm them up).

That's just it, the amount of time I've spent with literary depts in theatres arguing the merits of a comedy for comedy's sake rather than revealing some sort of hidden truth with a smirk...gah.

Yep, we don't know what to do at the minute. We were going to just move onto the next one, but the reception has been fantastic. We're seriously toying with bringing it back in Sept/October time and touring some venues.

Ta very much. I've just been to Cyprus for 10 days and knocked out the sequel too. It's weird, when you finally write something you're dead happy with, you don't want to do anything else.
