Was there a reason why a cyberman had been left to guard the empty Pandorica?

Why wouldn't there be a guard, or sentinal, of some sort?

Maybe he was caught having a cheeky cyberfag and the punishment was deletion?

We also know that River can pilot the Tardis, as she was taught by the future Doctor... (although there is no reason why the Daleks would know this)

Yes, although we don't know who she is, either. She could be The Doctor for all we know. Or the grown-up Doctor's daughter.

Because it's empty, so there's no-one to guard.

They have this secret thing under Stone Henge, a Cyberman is left there to keep an eye on it, seems fair enough.

We've seen the Master use the Tardis anyway.
So we know that the Doctor isn't the only person who can pilot it.

The trouble with every speculative answer is that another speculative question can arise...

For example, the scenario was set up to be believable to the Doctor - and he had to believe there was something in the pandorical, so to reinforce that belief the allience left a weopons room and gaurds...

But the scenario was lifted from Amy's mind, and she didn't recognise the cyberman...

And, these were alternate reality cybermen, (as suggested by the line "all universes will be destroyed...") which for some reason doesn't strike the Doctor as wrong...

And so we come up with an answer, and someone else thinks of a valid reason to question this and so on...

Guess we'll have to wait and see how many answers we get in the final part...

But I suspect that there will be more questions than answers...as usual!

Well, the Cyberman, and all the other aliens weren't lifted from Amy's memories though, were they? That was a proper actual Cyberman I thought, it was all of those baddies that teamed up at the end that had construted things from Amy's memories and thoughts, but not the actual baddies themselves.

Anyway, all will be revealed, no doubt; I suppose it's risky to take anything for granted at this stage in a Moffat story!

I suspect that not everything will be reveal to everyones satisfaction and that there will be doubts! ;)

Silurians are not a spacefaring race in the Roman era. And the Siccorax are unimportant scavengers. So it would seem unlikely these races shouldn't be part of the alliance. Suggesting these are pretend villains from someone's imagination.

Is it ever? What would people on internet forums have to complain about if it were?! :D

But the Doctor is the last of his kind! We've gone through this before! Angelic

Could be, or they just decided to use every costume they had in the dress up box!

It isn't difficult to find things that can be questioned in any episode of Who old or new.
It's the kind of show that should be granted a little bit more artistic license.

Yes. Until The Master somehow reappears, or The Rani, or any other Time Lord.

Yeah... The Tardis crew are still trapped in the dreamworld - this is the Doctors worst nightmare... Will he wake up in time... (and will the series end with a Christmas special teaser...)
