Rev - Series 1 Page 2

Finally, a scheduling! Starts on Monday the 28th at 10pm. Normally I'd remark that that doesn't sound like the best slot, but I'm not sure how the various sports events change the weighting of the schedules. Either way, I'm really rather looking forward to it.

Recent BBC2 10pm sitcoms haven't done very well at all. I fear that if it doesn't hit the ground running it won't last.

Olivia Colman's on Jonathon Ross at the moment talking about this. I didn't realise she was in it.

Oh, yes, I forget about reading that. Whistling nnocently

I'm looking forward to it, even after she said it wasn't a laugh a minute sitcom!

I'll catch this on iPlayer hopefully.

I quite enjoyed that. Not exactly laugh a minute, but it zipped along a nice pace and Hollander was excellent. Oh, and the Headmistress was very sexy. A promising start.

It was rather good. Nice feel to it.

That was good stuff; no big laughs, not many small laughs either, but very likeable and enjoyable.

Not as funny as I'd hoped it might be, but lots of fun. Great feeling to it. Looking forward to the next episode. :)

I liked when he took his dog collar off and shouted at the builders.

Don't reeeeeally like that he fancies the headmistress, makes me feel bad for Olivia Coleman. :(

Wasn't all that keen on this. Tom Hollander is a very likable lead but there weren't enough laughs for me. I don't need comedy to be laugh a minute but I could see the ending coming from a mile away and when the big laugh doesn't hit then I just felt 'what was the point?'. Alexander Armstrong was great as usual though. He smarms very well!
