Yes there were only 12 books and there were about 20 people. But no one else was taking them!

I'm not surprised. 
Just finished The Humbling by Philip Roth, a lovely, short, novel, about ageing, acting and sex.
Am currently reading The Defence of the Realm: The Authorized History of MI5.
Its very interesting but has about 900 pages which I am chipping away at. I am currently up to 1950's cold war shenanigans.
