Newsjack - Series 3 Page 4

Well, that's mine emailed off to chuck in the bin down at Broadcasting House.

If you need me, I'll be having a dump whilst the show is broadcast.

I'm kicking myself. Had ideas for a few sketches but have run out of time to do them - well, anyway. I'm not wasting anyone's time by sending in anything half-baked. Unfortunately other deadlines are having to take priority at the mo. Will do some voxpops and corrections though. In for a penny...

Im right in saying that its okay to hand stuff in for next monday though right?

You can submit for any week. Probably wisest to leave it closer to the deadline before submitting, if you want to remain topical. Unless your sketch is a more "zeitgeisty" one, I suppose.

I managed to get one sketch off bang on the deadline. Not holding my breath but at least I got the auto reply saying they had got it.

Ah, the mixed blessing that is Newsjack - squeezing one's brain for topical jokes, hoping that they aren't either too shit or too obvious. Or, that the Newsjack producers actually want that kind of thing.

Odd. I just received a blank e-mail from the show's producer. Am trying to convince myself this means something!

Clearly it means they're blanking you...

Making the effort to blank you, which is a bit nicer.

I'm writing some vox pops but I've no idea how to format them?
Can anyone help and tell me exactly what I need to do?
I've got about 9 quick jokes I'm sending to Newsjack, I know I've got to include them all in 1 word document, but does it have to be laid out like a script? or can I just type them like a normal document? :)

Just type 'em out. Double space 14 point and name/e-mail adress/title at the top of the page.
