Haahaa. I saw it uninterrupted, it was ace.

Looking forward to the Brazil game now. Let's hope they rebel against Dunga and play the beautiful game.

Bah! Why are the group stages so spread out!

Sorry, my mistake. Changed it now.

The Big 10 now has 12 teams and the Big 12 now has 10 - it's crazy. I've heard that Texas A&M is eying the SEC. That would be nice because my neighbor went to A&M and I'd love to rub it in every year when the Gators stomp them.

aTm would be a little isolated and just doesn't seem the SEC type to me, but I have heard that same rumor. I am still waiting to see where Texas winds up. most people are assuming Pac 10, but because Texas is demanding that Texas Tech come with them to what ever conference they wind up. If I was a Stanford or CAL alum I wouldn't be too happy with TT joining the Pac 10.

Is that what they call American English?

Just seen Gerrard being interviewed about USA goal.

"I don't think you can blame the goalkeeper ..." Laughing out loud

Well, I thought England played pretty well and there were many more pluses than minuses.

See, this is why there shouldn't be one thread for football. Infact, why not make yourselves a "All-in-one consolidatory American football thread"? :P

College football. Do English colleges have sporting teams...other than rowing.

I'll talk soccer, too.

where was Rooney the first 75 minutes? Yanks did a good job of shutting him down for most of the game.
