The Septics had some pacy forwards.

Don't they all?
Oh lets roll out all our goalkeeping blunders to cheer the mood, thanks ITV.

Ah, thanks.
So we're still in then.

I am not sure. I think twelve. Does twelve sound reasonable?

For the moment.
Can I just say - ITV, you may pay my wages, but you're well and truly shit.
I here they f**ked up during the England goal (on the HD channel). HA!

I thought England were dreadful and I'm not just saying that because I'm Welsh. Gerrard and Lampard are both impact players, when it comes to controlling a game they're both seriously lacking, and as good as Heskey played, him being there encourages this lump it up early attitude which does Rooney absolutely no favors at all. It was honestly like watching Blackburn play.
Play Rooney up front on his own, bring Carrick into the side and swap SWP with Joe Cole and you may just win the thing, presuming King isn't now out of the tournament. The only way you are going to do it is if you can get your only truly world class player (Gerrard no longer is imo) scoring goals, so why not play the formation that saw him score bucket loads this season?

One thing that annoyed me was the fact that Lennon and Wright-Phillips didn't run at their defenders, which is what they're best at.

I would argue that Wright-Phillips is best at running into defenders and losing possession...

I'll talk football with you. What do you think of conference re-alignment? The SEC has been quiet, which is surprising and just goes to show you johnny-come-latelys down south that the Big Ten still calls the hots when it comes to college football.

Is this English?

The Big 10 now has 12 teams and the Big 12 now has 10 - it's crazy. I've heard that Texas A&M is eying the SEC. That would be nice because my neighbor went to A&M and I'd love to rub it in every year when the Gators stomp them.

Yeah I loved it when that happened.
