The all-in-one consolidatory football thread Page 129

Watching Arg v Nig, I don't suppose the pony tail or long hair will ever quite go out of football fashion with teams like Argentina around. My god, it's almost a requirement to get in their team. I await the Germany game to see if the mullet is still not dead.

Bar owners mainly I would think.

Also on the arrogance bit: Wales v England 1999/00 Five Nations season at Wenbley. Score with a few minutes to go 31-25 to England who are awarded a kickable penalty. Take the three points on offer and go two scores clear or kick into the corner and try to score seven and really rub their noses in it ?

Which option did they take? Well, suffice to say that Scott Gibbs scored a wonderful try to give Wales the victory by 32-31 !

Sweet !

Are you really English?

Come get somePirate

These Dutch shirts are pretty cool. They'd be especially nice on women.

Oh, f**k. England's scored within 4 minutes. Now everyone will be convinced winning the World Cup is a foregone conclusion. Rolling eyes

wtf

Shocking. Such a great start too.

FUCKGREEN HELL!

FUN FACTS.

Last tournament Italy conceded one goal in the group stages of the World Cup. (Y'know, before they won the thing.) An own goal against U.S.A.

Please keep all overreactions under wraps. :D

Don't think its that critical is it.

I did think the score would be 1-1.

I though England played pretty well though, certainly in comparison to other opening world cup games.

So what happened, then?

How many touchdowns did we score today?

Agreed, disappointing results but we didn't play too badly. I thought Fabio made a good early decision bringing off Milner too.

On the down side, Carragher looked sloooooooooow.
