I don't want to get into a Lost discussion on this thread but to me it was a fun journey. And lots of shows go out with a whimper not a bang but they're still fun. Such as Murder One. Great series but disappointing end.

New series. Good news.
Maybe it'll mean that John Barrowman doesn't feel the need to take EVERY SINGLE JOB he's offered.

Not yet, anyway.

He's been filming episodes of Desperate Housewives.

Indeed. He's been on f**k all over here for months.
I have never seen a single episode of Lost. It sounds interesting when people talk about it. I remember someone getting sucked into a jet engine in a trailer.
Writers for new series announced:

One British writer?
Quote: Marc P @ August 7 2010, 9:28 AM BSTOne British writer?
Two. Including RTD that is; so there will be two Brits and three Americans. At least I assume they're Americans. It makes sense I suppose, there are far more experienced fantasy and sci-fi writers over there and it is an American co-production.
Also the Americans have a rather better track record with sci-fi and fantasy. And popular drama in general, come to that - they understand how to make shows that are entertaining without making them infantile.
And at least the services of Richard Curtis and Simon Nye have not been called upon.
I think it will be interesting certainly to see what develops.
I look forward to it, and hope it doesn't turn into the soggy meringue UK/US co-productions sometimes turn in to.
