What Song Have You Got Stuck In Your Head? Page 2

Love, Love Changes Everything by, I think, Michael Ball, or maybe Michael Crawford. One of them Michaels.

Here is just a bit of fun! Let's see if this works.

There is what you might call an urban myth about songs that get stuck in your head that I learned at uni. I thought that my friend was making it up but others have heard of it too. The theory is there is one (daft but fun) song in the world that many claim will knock ANY other song out of your head, whatever that song is or your taste in music. The problem is that it gets stuck for a while in your head instead and no other song can shift it! As I said, it a bit of an old wives tale but I have to admit, I have found it has worked out for me.

I won't name this song because I know how annoying it is to get a song stuck, especially if it's one you hate (sorry Gav about Agadoo) but for those who want to test it out to see it it works I'll put a youtube link up. The best thing to do to see if it works is to wait until you get one stuck and use the link. Also, let's keep schum about what the song is, just post up if it worked or not. Wow, I feel like Johnny Ball!

Here is the link (you may laugh or groan) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9nptjUs9FM

Oooooooooo!

Ruby, it has worked!
But, I'm not sure which I would rather have stuck in my head...

Scary, isn't it?

It is a bit.

Would make a top Doctor who episode!

Ha!
I'm sure he wouldn't mind guesting. They've got Kylie after all. He's just the next logical step.

That's like putting a big red button up saying don't press this...damn it Rubes!!!!!

Does it work if you've not got any tune stuck in your head to begin with? (I prefer the version from a cartoon.)

earworms. That's what they're called.

The one that always gets me is that bit from Eurythmics 'no more i love yous' where it goes doo-bi-doo-bi-do-do-do, aaaah.

And this always puts a smile on my face. But it means IO can't get it out of my head for days.
