You need Dr Ali at New Cross Wolverhampton. I was finally referred to him by a Registrar playing at being a GP in my local surgery and since then - nothing !

What do you mean by "metered"? Yes, all homes have meters so that we pay for what we use, if that's what you mean. It's been that way everywhere I've lived. Last month's water/sewer bill was $47.62 (£39.42) for 9,725 gallons (36,800 liters).
San Antonio gets its water from an underground aquifer. When the aquifer drops below certain levels the water company enacts gradually increasing restrictions on watering, car washing, etc. and I also believe that the price per gallon increases if you use more than a base amount in a given month.

Yes that's what I meant, it's very different to Britain, we are just waking up to the idea of having meters, but it still isn't compulsory, as I believe much of Europe already is. But we are a very wet country.
I doubt there's a location in this country that doesn't use water meters. My water bill in Florida was twice as much as here and they get 70 inches of rain per year.
Are your various meters located inside your homes like I've seen on television? I couldn't imagine Americans letting strangers into their homes to read a meter every month.
I went to an ATP festival at Pontin's in Camber Sands and they made us purchase little magnetic-striped cards for the electricity meter. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen. Also weird was the hotel room in Brussels where you had to insert your room key in order to have any electricity in your room. Bizarre.

Yeap, I started when I was 29. Father has it and my Grandfather before him.
Although this is my first attack for about a year.
Hence I have no attack pills at the moment. 
Am drinking water to try to shift it.
Don't you think contracting gout is overdoing the Henry VIII tribute thing a bit?
Maybe, the whoring is great fun though!

Totally depends on where you live, and someone certainly wouldn't visit every single month.

I've experienced that in hotels in America. It's a little odd at first, but makes some sense.

How often do you have to pay your gas/water/electricity bills? It costs upwards of $300 per month to cool this place in the summer when temperatures are in the triple digits, so I'd hate to have the bill arrive quarterly or semiannually.
