No, but I'm a spakka.

There's your blurb.

Sums up the book perfectly!
Quote: zooo @ May 30 2010, 1:43 PM BSTYep. Um, about a young man trying to return home to Chernobyl after being evacuated from there as a baby.
Blimey. Sounds quite heavy! Possibly more so than Leper Fight anyway.
It's lighter than it sounds! (Hopefully).

As in glowing gently?
Now I want some Readybrek.
Quote: DaButt @ May 29 2010, 6:49 PM BSTNo. Rednecks can drive $50,000 trucks and own million-dollar property. Rednecks self-identify as southerners who like trucks and country music.
Surely that is not how rednecks identify themselves. I have never lived down south (though I have southern blood in my veins) but I consider myself part redneck.
There are more rednecks in California than in Alabama, a state that I am just back from. I also spent the earlier part of the week on the redneck riviera.

Just to clarify, Chavs can also be well off our rich, normally due to some massive lottery win or that fact that they were lucky to work in the steel industry from the age of 16 and at 55 years old you know the place so well (nothing to do with intelligence) they've made you a director. (it happens all the time up north).
Ellie had a lovely weekend with the boyfriend and her friends.
What a lovely, cool, overcast weekend. None of that bastard sun.

I've lived most of my life in the south and spent 9 years in California and that strikes me as preposterous.
