I've written some Non-Satirical sketches, anyone know where I can send them??
Most places I've checked out seem to be satire based and I'm not really into that style of writing.
Any help appreciated. Cheers.

Hmmmm. What do you think you should do!? What stage are you at? Have you got any credits, something that might interest a producer? It's pretty much common sense:
Target producers whose previous shows you like; send them a polite short e-mail (don't try to be funny) asking if you can send a few sketches. Assuming a positive response, send them your finest wares. It's obviously better to tailor your sketches to specific shows you think will be recommissioned. Have a look on this board. There's lots of details on what's going on.
The other, increasingly common, method is to produce your own material. All producers are very lazy and love nothing better than to look at your homemade wares. Plus, rather than waiting around for 2 months in your lucky pants, you might have a laugh/ meet some comedy comrades. There's plenty of nights putting on live video sketch nights; some littered with 'industry.'
Do some research!
Cheers mate.
Check out the comedy unit they periodically have open oportunities for none topical stuff.
As does The Works.
But Topical historically has been more of a gateway, it maybe a case of learning to make none topical sketches more "relevant."
That or find sketch groups you like and offer to write probono or something.
Jacob - you've already posted the same question here. In future, just search and add to the thread you originally created when adding or re-asking, which was here: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/16992
In this instance I'll close the older one but please check before reposting. If I could remember your earlier post (and my memory is shot to bits) then maybe you should've.
Apologies. Not the end of the world though.
I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I chose to launch my own website on Friday with self-produced material and try and build up an audience. I'm now networking my butt off.
I plan to do a live show next year (a warm up act at the beginning of a comedy play), maybe get some local radio play and keep trying to raise my profile.
Please have a look at my site www.marzipanic.com. It's easier to do than it looks. If you're interested in going down this route mail me and I'll give you a quick "how to" guide.
In any event I would love your view on my material (shameless plug alert).
Best of luck. Ant
