Please don't discuss the end of Lost in this thread. Some of us have to wait for the boxset. Thankyou.

I'll bring this forum to its knees if it's ruined for me. IT'S KNEES!!!
Well who'd of thought it was actually Fantasy Island? Chavi Valcherez shot down the plane with a well aimed cocktail umbrella.
I'll be quite sad to see Lost go; that, Ashes and Battlestar all finished; are there any other fantasy/sci-fi shows with a similar ongoing mystery vein worth checking out? I hear Fringe might be worth a shot.
This year sees the end of a lot of great shows. There's nothing obvious on the horizon to replace any of them.
Current duffers; V, Pain Killer Jane, The Prisoner, Fringe etc.
Still Charlie Brooker said Spartacus Blood and Sand is meant to be a winner.

Yeah, there are good shows about; things like Dexter, and Breaking Bad, which I'm just getting in to, but nothing of the same ilk as Ashes or Lost. Like I say, I've heard Fringe may be one show that might be in similar territory, I've just rented the first series through Love Film.

Spartacus hardly seems like a show in the Ashes/Lost/Battlestar vein though. There are plenty of good shows around, but none satisfy that fantasy/mystery combination.
Maybe we should film one ourselves?
Dad's Army V2.
Where this time the Walmington on Sea LDV are part of an ongoing near endless space war or are they all dead and in purgatory?
Phil Glenister as Sgt F**king Mannering.
John Symms as Lance Corporal Jones
Keeley Whores as Corporal Pike.

Fringe is pretty good. Yes, just an updated X-Files, but pretty good nonetheless.
V though is appalling the CGI starship interiors look like theyw ere done with chromakey.
Celebrity come dine with me, game show special its ace.
And I just saw Jenny Powell's face smeared with cream.
Nyak nyak nyak!
Me too, what a bunch of bellends.
