No, I haven't. I've browsed BBC online jobs in the past and none have ever matched my skills. Maybe I'll look again at some stage. Besides anything else it might be a bit of a conflict of interests with this site.
I know this thread has taken a funny off-topic turn into Aaron's helpdesk, but my advice is to go for and take some job you don't actually think you want (obviously within reason). Either you'll end up enjoying it more than you thought, or you won't. If the latter - well, you'll be getting money in, and more importantly it is way way way easier to get a new job from having one than to get one from not.

The initial menial jobs a lot of us try can very often lead to gaining incredibly valuable experiences which you'd never get from 'proper' jobs. You get to mix with an entirely different strata of people, and you get a view of organisations from the ground up. Just don't stay at there long.
Yeah, I've considered doing that: trouble is, I know that if I did, I would just stay there, and that'd be that. So - not that I'm implying that I'm "better than that" or anything - I'm wary of what I might get myself into.

It's true, that does happen, and you're wise to be wary of it.

You're right, but it's very easy for people to feel stuck. At which point they need to read Susan Jeffers "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway".

I may have mentioned it on here but I had a spell about 4 years ago where I did cleaning at a supermarket before my day job (getting up at 4:15am) just make ends meet. I actually found it a very valuable experience from a personal point of view, not career wise particularly but I don't regret it at all.
