How long does it take someone to earn a four-figure sum? On a minimum wage, it would take about a month, and an average wage takes a fortnight; a new doctor gets it in a week, while someone like a freelance programme manager could earn it in a day, or even a morning. Top footballers earn it in an hour.
So where should other professions go on this scale?
For me on minimum wage, I would have to work 40 hours a week to earn £937.6 before tax.
It would take around 42 hours a week to make just over £1000.
After tax you would prob need to top 50 to keep above it.
