How long does it take someone to earn a four-figure sum? On a minimum wage, it would take about a month, and an average wage takes a fortnight; a new doctor gets it in a week, while someone like a freelance programme manager could earn it in a day, or even a morning. Top footballers earn it in an hour.
So where should other professions go on this scale?

Just checked the exchange rate and was shocked to see the pound at $1.43. It was $1.53 the first time I visited and $1.89 the last time I was there.
So it would cost you $1.43 to buy £1? Is that good or bad?

I don't leave the house much, so it's unlikely to affect me at the moment!
