Independent thinkers are now considered diseased by psychiatry. We must obey without question: http://www.naturalnews.com/028803_psychiatry_disease.html

Peter Serafinowicz: "Why I Steal Movies... Even Ones I'm In"

Interesting read.

Indeed. Although I question his assertion that "to make copies is hugely impractical for the average consumer". I'm an average consumer and I've fairly effortlessly made copies of certain DVDs that I watch more than once, such as recent seasons of Family Guy, because the originals have ridiculously lengthy copyright warnings at the beginning that cannot be bypassed to get to the main menu. To sit through over a minute of idiotic copyright warnings ("you wouldn't steal a car would you?" type crap) after I have bought the original discs is absurd and irritating. Stupid Twentieth Century Fox.

When you "own" a DVD, you have the right to watch it whenever and wherever you want. However: you must watch ten minutes of promos, trailers and anti-piracy threats.

The author should buy himself a decent DVD player, he could then fast forward through all this stuff.

Which DVD players allow you to skip FBI warnings, advertisements, etc?

Promos and trailers (rarely on at the start of DVDs), yes; but anti-piracy warnings are often immune to the 'menu', 'skip' and 'fast forward' buttons.

The one I use most is a Goodmans. No idea what model it is.

That's what I thought too. But mine allows me to skip everything. Cool

Take your remote, press "stop" twice and then "play", and you might be able to skip everything.

Shit it was an actual torpedo and not an old mine.

South Korea is already blocking the DPRK's access to the world cup as a punishment.

Maybe the Lib Dems will take note. Although I doubt it. http://order-order.com/2010/05/19/the-spectre-of-sovereign-collapse-haunts-europe/

There's plenty of the same on "real" news sites. The Euro is in deep trouble and the dollar isn't far behind. And just wait until the shit hits the fan in China.

And stirling is doing fine.

Hello British Empire lets turn that map pink again.
