Make Pimms!
Do you GROW? Page 11
Quote: Leevil @ May 19 2010, 11:06 AM BSTMy plant is only about a foot long and wide, and I suppose I only get a handful or two a year (maybe more). But, it's still nice to have a treat every so often.
But they usually send out little creepers when the fruits have gone so you can get new plants for the following year if you want.
The original plant will only fruit for about 3 years or so.
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ May 19 2010, 11:09 AM BSTAw, not enough for jam making then. My apple tree doesn't even grow edible apples.
That sucks. Ours grows great apples, and the pressures on to eat them all when they're ready.

I have no idea how long these have been here, I only moved in three years ago. Could this be their last year?

I used to have a garden with a great bramley tree. You can get sick of apple crumble and pies though.

If they had any ground around then they probably made themselves a new plant.
Keep an eye out for the new shoots later on in the year.
It looks like there are two separate plants already, although I'm not quite sure if that's because there was originally? I seem to remember having one big one and one tiny one, but I'm not so sure. They're both quite big now though, so.
