What are you eating? Page 439

Ooooh yummy. My Granny makes a mean Eaton Mess... although for most of my childhood I though it was Eat N' Mess.

It was yummy. A nice mess.

Chicken and sweetcorn soup.

I've had cheese & pickle sandwiches, but I want something to eat, for the sake of just eating something.

Need a cig...

I just made the best burger I've had in a long time. A cowboy burger (a huge, fresh patty containing bacon, cheese, peppers and other spices that my local supermarket sells) on a grilled onion roll with lettuce, tomato and fresh avocado. YUM.

That does sound great. I had prawn and chilli pasta for dinner, which was most tasty, even if I do say so myself.

Niiiiiiiice.

(apart from the avocado.)

I should have taken a photo of its magnificence, but I was in a hurry to put it in my tummy. Now I may be too full to mow the lawn. Sick

I had avocado for breakfast today. 'twas nice.

And I will fight anyone who says otherwise. :)

I miss living in California near a friend who had avocado trees that produced hundreds of bushels per year. The best avocado is a free avocado.

Taking a break from the mowing. It's raining just enough to make things more difficult, yet not enough to force me to quit. It's not cooling things off any, either. Angry

How hot is it there? And what is officially in season?

86F/30C. Are you asking about garden plants? If so, everything is growing like crazy. I ate a strawberry while I was mowing and there are some jalapenos ready to harvest. The tomatoes are coming along nicely and so are the herbs and zucchini.

Just had a cheese and Branston Pickle sandwich... I want another one!

Satsuma 2 of 7.

Seven!? Blimey. Maybe the assistant didn't want to put your change in your hand because it's turned orange.
