Electrical Store Recommendations

Here's a question for the tech's. Where's the best places to buy things like hard drives and memory, etc?

Googling places is doing my head in. Amazon seems to be the best place I can find, but I'm sure there's better places out there. Obviously looking for good value, cheap prices, and stuff.

Cheers!

Can't beat Rumbelows.

Except they went out of business in 1933.

Ebuyer, Saverstore, Aria + Google Product Search.

You guys need a Newegg of your own. They've pretty much sewn up the market here.

Well we've just got Best Buy, so maybe they'll saunter over. They'd be more likely to just buy Ebuyer though; they've got the majority of the market by far.

Your mum according to Which?

Ok, cheers!

http://www.svp.co.uk/ are pretty good.

Cheers, Nilbo. Will check it out.

They do 99p delivery once or twice a month, so sign up for their newsletters and keep an eye out for it. They don't keep a hugely extensive stock though.

I get most of my stuff from CPC which is a division of Farnel sort of descendent of Radiospares.

www.scan.co.uk - I've only used them once but I was always impressed with what they have on offer and also offer support for their items etc.

Interesting, never come across them before, thanks! They even have one of the first Freeview HD recorders on the market... Failing to read properly. >_<
