Will the Queen work at weekends?

Just thinking that in an ideal situtation this will be done and dusted by Sunday, in order that we have a government in place by the time the markets open on Monday.

Doesn't really matter much to me.

I went today and got most of my greens and some nice mushrooms, just need a few nice new potatoes now.

That's crazy talk Godot - next you will be saying that the US broke a UN embargo by selling arms to Iran in order to fund Nicaraguan contras.

Unbelievable ignorance. You might as well suggest the US State Department and CIA gave money to the Taliban.

So wildly out of step that they have councillors, a London Assembly seat, MEPs, and growing support?

The BNP have gobbled up every scrap of protest vote going like a tramp going through the bins at McDonalds. At the first sign of a real election they get nothing.

The humiliation of this nasty single issue party speaks highly of UK democracy.

Supporting them if you're not of their target demographic speaks of the very lowest gesture politics of the 6th form debating society.

Yes, they lost all their council seats. Excellent!

As for the IRA, the average American had no stomach for them. A few expats and pubs collected donations, but I think you should be looking at Libya if you want a nation to point fingers at.

The IRA have had multiple income sources including crime and foreign governments such as Libya. US sympathisers have provided a small but significant amount of money and arms (more so when they bankrolled the 1921 revolt).

The US has funded every one from the Contras to the Shabback. The cold war was both hot and bloody. Don't deny some very brave cold warriors who gave their lives in the fight with communism.

Mrs Bigfella demands everyone writes jokes about the election.

What's red, blue, yellow and disapointing?

Mrs Bigfella doesn't know.

The election result.

Mrs Bigfella wants more jokes.

Why's it called a "hung" Parliament?

Because it has a massive bell.

Here's one Mrs Bigfella.

Why are many people who say Gordon Brown has no right to cling onto power so keen to have the third placed leader and biggest loser of the election - Nick Clegg - adopt the kingmaker role and carry David Cameron to power?

Okay, it's not funny but it is a joke.

Why did people vote for the BNP?

Because they can only tell white lies.

Errr

Exit Polls?

Wasn't that one of Nick Grifins election promises?
