Quote: Aaron @ May 7 2010, 2:04 PM BSTSo wildly out of step that they have councillors, a London Assembly seat, MEPs, and growing support?
The BNP are - unless we get PR, which I suspect you support - harmless oafs.
Harmless oafs that advocate both the repatriation of 'non-whites' and the proliferation of personal gun ownership. That's akin to calling Eugene Terreblanche a loveable rogue.
Not much of an offer from Cameron. Unless he offers a lot more Clegg should go for a supply and confidence arrangement.
Cameron's done his speaking. It's up to Cleggy now. And he ain't daft old Clegg. Odds on he'll go go with Cambo.

ConDem.
No, that doesn't sound quite right.
Yes it does! It's a ConDem government - A ConDemEnt.

Why would that make a difference?

I have not yet seen what he said, but was he ever going to offer much? From their point of view, even if not an outright majority they still have the largest number of seats, by far the largest number of votes, and a really quite sizeable swing in some places - not an entirely modest one overall. Not quite the 'clear mandate' but definitely the upper hand, especially as Clegg revealed his cards in talking about the party with the largest number of seats/votes having the 'moral right' to seek to govern.
