Yeah well done Spurs, I always said if I supported a London team it would be them. And Redknapp is doing his chances of becoming England supremo no harm when Capello leaves in the summer.

I'm quite pleased for Spurs - especially as they have a chance of overtaking Arsenal. But I'm afraid I don't really trust Redknapp. There's always been question marks about where he's managed. Take Portsmouth and Southampton for example.
Anyone hear about the Motherwell Hibs match? 6-6!
Funny to see all the Motherwell fans leaving when they were 6-2 down - serves 'em right really.
The equaliser was a bit tasty: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8665043.stm
I'm glad Spurs made it ahead of City. I'm a bit surprised by all the fuss the media are making about it. I don't remember them making that big a deal about Everton making it, 5 years ago.

That's because you're not a big club like Spurs are! Spurs are such a big club. They're back where they belong. You fluked out. Spurs have finally made it to a level appropriate to the size of their club. They're such a big club.
Also, they did it despite such a terrible injury crisis. They had to play Michael Dawson in defence and Tom Huddlestone in midfield! They have overcome all the odds and all the pressure to finally get to the European stage they deserve. It's been a struggle and a test of their resolve, but truth and freedom have finally shone through. They have broken the 'Big Four', making the league better for everyone from top-to-bottom. Oh, I am so thankful for Spurs.

I must admit, the way some Spurs fans talk, you would think they had been much more successful than they have been. They've only won the league 2 times, and the last time was almost 50 years ago!

They've got to be some of the worst fans on the planet - they might as well write 'delusions of grandeur' underneath their club crest.
Which is the biggest club? Aston Villa, Everton, Man City or Spurs?
Rank them one to four and then run away as the respective fans start a fight.
Here are their Wikipedia pages so you can assess their claims.

It's hard to coach a side from jail. Though I suppose they managed it in Escape to Victory.

Everton.
For 'big clubs', Villa, Spurs and Man City are probably the three biggest underachievers currently in football. In the last 25 years, Spurs have only finished in the Top 4 on one occasion, Villa are level pegging with Leicester in terms of trophies (2 League Cup wins), and Manchester City have reached the grand total of ONE Cup Semi Final - the same as their lowly local rivals Stockport.
I've always thought of Everton as a big club.
Aston Villa have of course won the European Cup.
I'm pleased too that a new team has broken into the top four. The fourth team though have to play a qualifier.
And I thought Huddlestone was a midfielder!
Does anyone have the last round of fixtures to hand? What are the chances of Spurs finishing above the Arse?
Arse have to lose to Fulham who will probably be resting players for Europa Cup League Trophy.
I'd say Spurs.
They may have only won the league twice in the last 50 years but that was pretty much the Chelsea story a few years ago.
None of the others have had a team as good as Spurs did when they won the double.
First English team to win a European trophy.
And until recently the most successful FA Cup team.
And none of the others had a player as good as Glen Hoddle
Not to mention Jimmy Greaves.

That's only because Chelsea weren't allowed to take part!

He is, Spurs fans are just melodramatic. Listen to Redknapp, he never fails to point out that his club is suffering a 'massive injury crisis' when they lose. Inevitably they'll have one player injured and a bench which would make most clubs below them jealous. Pricks.
