Fine by me; I've never claimed nor pretended that they're perfect, nor do I believe they won't f**k up. But their f**k ups won't be nearly as catastrophic as those of the Labour party.

Well I'm willing to give the Conservatives a chance again so I will definitely be voting Tory tomorrow.

And you're right, after 13 painful years of Labour it would be hard pressed for the Conservatives to be any worse.

Keep that in a safe place and we'll talk again in three years .

So long as the World economy does not fall over, I doubt the Tories can do much harm in a single term, particularly when they are so bereft of ideology, and they are probably preferable to Brown's bankrupt New Labour, if only because they are not wedded to failing policies; but they are an uninspiring shower.

Personally I cannot imagine why anyone would vote for either of the established parties. How contemptible to politicians have to be before people are prepared to say that they are not going to take it anymore?

Maybe we get the politicians we deserve? Maybe as a nation britain no longer deserves anything better than your Camerons and Browns. I mean let's face it, Britain is a bit wank nowadays. And I'm not talking about the institutions but the people.

Gordon Brown:

"What happens to me doesn't matter; it never has mattered."

What a steaming f**king hypocrite.

You have a point.

Well I for one, am a lovely person.

The sad fact is, the same people who read the Sun and get so riled up about how useless Gordon Brown is, are the same cretins that can't bring up their children properly and can't instill any kind of moral framework in them. The same people who slack off at work or do half-arsed jobs. The same people who get drunk and beat their wives.

Your loveliness factor* is cancelled out by somebody very close to you. Pleased

*Not proven.

Well I'm one of the people saying how useless Gordon Brown is and I read the Sun and have no children, work hard, teetotal and not married.

So that proves your silly theory wrong for a start, at least about me anyway.

I'm not sure whether you're being tongue-in-cheek or not, but I fear that that analysis has more than a pinch of truth in it.

You're just proving my silly theory right, namely that Sun readers always blame somebody else. :)

Look at that passionate icconaclastic politicos; Ming, Galloway, Benn, Hurd etc.

All shoved to the sidelines and back benches. We like McDonalds style blandos who protect us from the hard truth.

I do believe that. I think it ironic that politicians come in for such contempt from bad-toothed benefit-scrounging binge-drinking Chat-reading profanity-spewing oiks who'd have been bludgeoned to death with a slab in any decent country. I know who I'd rather have living next to me.

Quite most MPs work 80 hour weeks and are now seen as some of 4th emergency service cum police force.

The mean spirited carping about what was in the main chump change exies fraud is pathetic. Frankly if you live off mainly benefits or tax credits piss off you have nothing to say. You're nothing but an expense on my taxes.

But these people will probably still vote Labour, won't they? Because they still know what side their bread is buttered on, to coin a phrase. That description doesn't really scream Tory voter to me, although I am very ignorant.

It screams TOry to me.

One victory the conservatives have made world wide is to convince the working class they are middle class and by extension hate themselve.s
