Sorry for ressurection an old post. But I actually lost sleep last night weighing up the pro's and con's of whether Karl is real or not.
I love Karl, I think he (or his act) is the funniest thing around. All the podcasts have made me laugh at loud at one point.
While I think he's too good to be made up, I also think if he is made up it's too good a secret to be kept. As if he is Karl Pilkington or an actor playing him, he must have had a life. Surely one person with a big mouth would tell the News of the World (not that I read it) "actually..."
What do we all think?
I'm pretty sure he's real. A lot of the stuff said on the podcasts is regurgitated from the old radio shows and pub convos though and is not spontaneous at the recordings.
I'd love to see the enigmatic Suzanne too.
