Stupid cow can just f*ck off then and get what she deserves !
Aw, bless her. Sounds like she's just sick of all the fuss. She knows there would probably be bloody cameras following her to the booth.

Agreed. Though if she wanted to make some money from it she probably could. It's a stupid bloody society we live in, after all.
No vote = not interested = name off fire brigade register, ambulance register, police register, benefits/pensions records . .
No engagement? Make your own f*cking arrangements then !

That's a good idea: we don't have enough people marginalised from society. Let's make more through persecuting people exercising their democratic right not to vote.

Tell it to the Sudanese !

Cor, think of the money she'd save on taxes, take my name off as well.
Quote: sootyj @ May 1 2010, 11:56 PM BSTWell they don't do much other than give Alexander "should be smoked" Salmond airtime. He has the charm of Brown, the sincerity of Cameron and the indefatigability of Galloway.
And the appearance of Jabba the Hut.
Quote: keewik @ May 2 2010, 12:16 AM BSTSorry - some local councils are total shite - I'm thinking Glasgow here - always moaning about shortage of money but they squander what they have.
So your answer, rather than to restructure Glasgow's city council, is to introduce another level of tax-sapping governance that is equally susceptible to becoming incompetent and incoherent?
Quote: keewik @ May 2 2010, 12:18 AM BSTAlec Salmond has some personality
So does Ian Huntley.

Angry with someone not falling in line with your Glorious Leader?

Wouldn't it be nice if the voting forms were required to contain an entry for "NONE OF THE ABOVE"
And if the votes for "NONE OF THE ABOVE" were greater than the difference between the one with most votes and the one with second most votes, the election is canceled & they have to redo it with new candidates.

Or do it again with entirely new parties. A report way back in 2006 showed Britain is less happy than in the 1950s - despite the fact that we are three times richer.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/happiness_formula/4771908.stm
So why isn't this a 'big issue'?
"What the happiness research suggests is that once average incomes reach about £10,000 a year, extra money does not make a country any happier. "
I don't see any major party dealing with this at all. Surely we'd all like to be happier? Isn't that what life's all about?
But things like happiness and joy don't make money, and we seem to be lead by power-mad obsessives who've had all the joy sucked out of them.
Well this is a high-ranking comedy forum, comedy makes people about as happy as anything can, so who here will take up this noble cause?

Gordon would have a sex change and take holy orders and spend the rest of the election standing on a ladder.
Well, that's why I want Boris as PM.
Think how much fun he would provide, bumbling about, insulting people by accident.
Then slashing funding and shoving up transport costs whilst everyone chuckles.

With The Duke of Edinburgh as Foreign Secretary as well ?
