Did all '70s girls have that weird tendony thing across their stomachs?

That's a Dalek you Deacon.

It's not another one of those bloody girls in Dalek dresses is it?

*edit*

Ah, lol. That's quite scary!

There's nothing scary about Dalek girls.

I often wonder what people are looking at web pages on. There are lots of tendony things in Who but I don't see any in this picture.

Well I'm no Tim Walker. But there's something weird going on.

I might be wrong but I don't think Tim Walker would be looking at tendony things in that picture.

Nah, he loves a good pair of healthy tendons on a woman.

I didn't realise that Sarah 'Lalla' Ward who used to play Time Lady Romana was now married to Richard Dawkins.
I knew she was married to Tom Baker for a short time.

What planet have you been living on? In some of Dawkins' books you'll find illustrations by Lalla Ward. And she co-reads the audiobook of The God Delusion - a boring pile of snide smug stating the obvious if there ever was one.

I don't read Dawkins
It goes against my religion of not reading books that I can't be bothered to.

Laughing out loud

Isn't his general message, religion is balls? I don't need to read a whole book, he could just pass those three words to me, scribbled on a napkin.

His first book, The Selfish Gene, is a good textbook explaining natural selection, self-replicating genes and memes. More of the same in River Out of Eden (with drawings by Lalla) and The Blind Watchmaker. The God Delusion was largely an exercise in smug. I haven't read his latest book, The Greatest Show on Earth as I suspect it is likely a rehash of his "evolution is real and religion is dumb" theme.

The Greatest Show on Earth only really touches on religion, it's mainly about spelling out the evidence for evolution for laypeople. I don't think it's an especially successful book.

I thought The God Delusion was a quite funny. Nothing "smug" about mocking the religious.

Hmmm.

To me, "The God Delusion" seems to be trying to make a religion out of Athesism.

And Dawkins its its Prophet...
