Cos then they wouldn't be holidays, Chappers.

And they are in the kids' holidays, we're contracted to three days more than the kids have to attend. Those are the training days.

Like I said, we never get any sympathy. Whistling nnocently

You get my sympathy! :)

Ricky Gervais is on the front cover this week, and inside theres a big interview with him. It's very odd, basically, the woman interviewing him tears him to pieces. Obviously she did none of this to his face, but just about anything that isn't a quote from Gervais in the article, is her snidely slagging him off. I just thought it was completely bizarre; I was reading it to hear about his projects past and present, not how much the person interviewing him obviously hates him and his work! Very weird.

Ha! I shall have to read it.

I have a lot of empathy in me that needs to get out.

Too much oestrogen in the water supply. It's the only explanation.

I don't know, hatred can be quite fun sometimes. Hence the enduring success of the Daily Mail. And Ricky's big and ugly enough to take it. In fact he told Wogan at the weekend he rather enjoyed it.

Proper hardworking teachers do tons of work outside of school hours, so they can have sympathy.
But lazy ones who don't do any can bugger off.

True, but this is The Radio Times, when did they start doing sneaky demolition pieces like that?!

I'd do extra work if I had 12 weeks paid holiday a year.

Ellie is enjoying a night alone in the flat. ;)
