Yesterday I was listening to the song 'I shall believe' by Sheryl Crow and it struck me just how much about the election you could read into the lyrics. This evening I decided to create a video with that idea in mind which I hope you'll enjoy. :)

I have to admit that part of me would like to see this go viral so if you feel so inclined it would be cool to spread the word even if only to see what happens.

The YouTube pop up ad on that is 'Get debt free now.'

Is that me or the country,? They don't say !

:)

Incidentally the fact that I've made a vid about Nick Clegg doesn't say anything about my politics - it's just a bit of satire based on the past weeks events. I'm an amused onlooker.

Clegg is being held up as some kind of Messiah which was one of the reasons I did this. Any impression of homoeroticism on my part is purely coincidental.

The curious thing about this Clegg business is that it's very similar to how Cameron himself burst on the scene all those years ago. I remember he gave one rousing speach at the Tory Conference and suddenly everybody forgot about the previous frontrunner to be the next Tory leader (David Davies) and annointed Cameron as the Messiah.

David Davies wasn't the frontrunner! He was more well-known, but the game was very much open.

There was a period towards the end of Michael Howard's tenure as captain of the Titanic that was the Tory party during it's barron years, that David Davies was seen as very much the leader-in-waiting. Not least by himself.

Davies himself may have thought so, but I don't recall it being a particularly prevalent notion.

Isn't it David Davis?

It is, woops.

For a minute I thought you were all talking about someone else. :)

I did think a few years back that he was getting a bit of support and represented a less smarmy face for the Tories, but it was never to be.

I predict Conservative win 3-1 with a Cameron overhead kick in injury time.

The Quiet Man is TURNING UP THE VOLUME!

What a twat from a tribe of twats.

God I hope they don't win; bunch of over priveleged wankers one and all.
