BBC cuts Page 2

Agreed. They need to cut down on the kids' stations first (load of wank, IMO). BBC Four I think actually does quite a good job, in-line with the original 'clever' aims/objectives of the channel, but does need a little refinement here and there.

BBC Three on the other hand, has quite a high proportion of bollocks. Now I personally really don't mind Two Pints, but it is on far too much - or at very least on at the wrong time(s).

I think that I should be the boss of the channel.

BBC4 is everything BBC2 used to be. Please don't kill our BBC4!
BBC3 is mainly a waste of space, mixed into a blender of repeat-o-mungo, testbed, and the odd gem. But there's no reason why the good stuff (and the testbed) can't be shown on BBC2 instead. Or BBC4 for that matter.

BTW, I reckon the kiddie stations serve a good purpose, especially in a commercial terrestrial station environment where trad kids TV has been largely killed off.

BBC4 has given us Screenwipe, Flight of the Conchords, Lead Balloon, The Thick of It... etc etc - all great shows in my view!

BBC3 has given us Two Pints.... *ahem*

'nuff said. (Actually to defend BBC3 I don't think most of us are in its target audience. It is also a better pilot test bed and training ground for cast and crew).

You say theres a bbc3 and a bbc4? i'm still getting used to channel 5?? Why don't they get rid off them all, take the best shows from each one and they might end up with one decent channel. That said they might not.

Agree entirely. But it's interesting that C4 can do 5 pilot comedies stripped across this week and is also in the middle of a series of 6 on Fridays. BBC2 could do this just as well. It's almost what the time-sfter-Newsnight was designed for!

Is that freudian?

But tey could get rid of BBC4 - put their good progs on 3 but not keep repeating them. After all what's the point of repeats when everyone has On Demand?

I don't!

But in time you will.

As long as they still make Dog Borstal they can ditch BBC 3

Adam, that's possibly the worst programme on BBC Three.

Yes, including Two Pints.

I can't stand two pints. The charecter Louise just scares me!

Which one is she?

I think she might be the only one I like.

There's :
blonde chav.
Dark haired girl who used to be on Hollyoaks (I like her)
Squeaky annoying one.

Squeaky annoying one!

I quite like Dog Borstal, particularly the bleepin' Police dog guy.

PS Is anyone else missing Jamie? He's made me smile these last few days!

lol England ;)

p.s does that help!?
