Any home remedies to cure it? I've tried drops and squirting water.
Is it your outer ear or your Eustachian tube that is blocked?
If it is the outer ear, you can buy solutions that dissolve the wax. They mostly consist of a very dilute solution of HydrogenPeroxide with a little oil say olive oil.
When you put some in your ear using a dropper tube, (with that side of your head uppermost) you hear bubbles as the wax disolves, You may need to repeat it. When all done rinse out your ear with plain water, using the dropper tube.
I have done this to myself many times, but check with your doctor or a pharmacist.
If it is your inner tube you need decongestant pills or tablets.
The popping 'trick' is for Eustachian tube problems, the action openes the tube for a moment if it is blocked and eiter equalises the pressure or left some of the obstructing fluid run out. But it's not really a good idea when you have a problem becuause it can blow some of the fluid further up the tube into your inner ear and make it worse. But the popping 'trick' is often used by fit scuba divers to 'clear the ears' as they enter the water, this then tends to make it easier for the higher pressure air from the aqualung to go up to the inner ear to balance out the water pressure on the outside {&}. Airlines used to hand out sweeties just before take-off to have the reverse effect, where you want to release the air pressure in the inner ear on the way up because airplanes fly with reduced cabin pressure.
{&} the main function of an aqualung is to feed you air at almost the same pressure as the depth of water that you are swimming in.

Port Meiron (sp?) is awesome. I want to live there.
It's actually all one hotel isn't it?
So if you wanted to live there long time you would need to be on the hotel staff.
