Puppets that outlived their masters

Poor Emu died when Red Hull killed himself (fixing his aerial my arse).

But not all puppets died with their masters. Infact the exuberant liveliness of some of these sinister creatures begs the question, who was fisting who?
And can an amalgam of foam and cloth not only live, but have a life, nay even a career...?

Longlived puppets.

Basil Brush
Sooty
Kermit and all those other f**king muppets.
Gordon Brown

Emu has lived on. He has his own series on CITV with son of Rod.

Bloody hell! The avian whore.

I saw Ed the Duck coming out of a Ladbrokes the other week. He looked pretty miserable.

The former Yugoslav, Tito, was a puppet that outlived his master, wasn't he?

He was a lousy ventriloquist

kudos though for nifty little gag there

I saw Emu in panto at Christmas, actually.

What about the Fred West of the puppet world, Mr Punch. He's been around since the 16th Century so I assume his original owner is dead. "That's the way to do it Rose!"

You should change your avatar to Emu as a self punishment :P

Emu used to scare me a LOT.

Yeah, but now you can see why topicals aren't my strong point. :D And I just noticed you got in a Gordon Brown one earlier.

He used to scare Rod too. Who do you think sent a seriously-squiffy Rod up onto the roof to fix an aerial because a certain puppet's favourite show was on?
:)

:O

Nah it was suicide, or atleast made to look that way...

Wasn't it off the roof of a bungalow?

Not much of a suicide attempt!
