New Blur single
I saw Blur in Hyde Park last year. Was one of the best gigs I've been to.
It's good, I hope they manage to keep the foursome intact and release an album.
I really really like Blur but, imo, this is disappointing. Repeating the same 10-second melody line for 2:30-plus doesn't count as a song - it's just the equivalent of a tape loop with the lyrics varying.
It's either Blur's witty comment on the state of the industry or it's the indication of a band that's run out of creative ideas.

Sadly, I thought that was a bit poo on hearing it for the first time.
Hopefully it's a grower.
Is it bad I now prefer the Gorillaz?

Gorillaz. Epic 'meh'.
I liked that first song they did.
But Jamie should have stuck to making the Tank Girl comic.
And Damon should stick to being in Blur.
