Glastonbury 2010

So... after many years of saying, "we really ought to go to Glastonbury next year." We've finally got ourselves organised and got some tickets... not as bad as I thought it would be, took 8 minutes, some swearing, several, has that worked and a lot of hitting f5...

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else is going and if so do they want to join in an unofficial BCG meet up down there?

kjs

Are they available already? How much?

I've never been either - will I get there before I'm 60?

Kind of depends how old you are now I suppose . . Huh?

They went on sale yesterday at 9am and were sold out by 9pm :(

However... they said there may be cancellations etc in the next couple of weeks which will be oferedup for sale..

You need to register though if you want to buy tickets http://www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk

It's the 40th anniversary so it promises to be a biggee!!!!!

Well... The line up has been announced http://bit.ly/2010lineup

Anyone else from here going?

I went in 2000, with a couple of mates from London. We didn't have a tent, and ended up sleeping in a circus big-top, while a knife-thrower practiced a few feet away from us.

It took Catskillz 12 minutes to type that, using his remaining finger-stump.

Can you really tell how long people take to type a reply? I was talkingto someone as I was typing, so kept getting interrupted.

Erm, it was more a reference to the tent being near the knife-thrower. Sorry. I know the rule: if you have to explain, it isn't funny.

LOL. Yeah, I got the reference, but coincidentally, I also took about 12 minutes to type the reply.

I don't believe in coincedence. I believe that you were, erm, fated to take twelve minutes to type the reply. Or something.

:O Whoah at the line up.

Lucky he wasn't practising knife-throwing.

I went from 1994 - 2000 and I have to say it was amazing. I know I'll sound like a bit (more) of an old grumbler but the line up this year looks awful, especially the headliners. It really has changed, seems more like V festival now. I'm sure everyone will have just as good a time though, albeit in a more Hollyoaks stylee. :)

EDIT: Would love to see Stevie Wonder though

I hope no one is going to defile the glorious event in this thread by referring to it as "Glasto"?
>_< :)
