British Comedy Guide

BBC Drama Production Writers Academy

Surprised we haven't already got a thread for previous Drama Writing Acadamies, since it's been going while. Anyway, well worth a punt if you've had something professionally produced. And the winners of this probably stand to do better than the winners of the BBC's College of Comedy.

Seems to be more of a full time gig than the comedy one.

You wouldn't kick anything out of....no don't bother.

I wish I hadn't started this thread now.

Give it a chance mate. It might be up to a full first page by tomorrow.

Then again, maybe not.

I like to think of this as our own private thread, John. We can discuss anything here and nobody will ever find out.

Yes, it's like our own little den, where we can browse naughtily through lingerie catalogues. Or something.

How come this still goes and Micheal's isn't. Some dodgy thinking here. Oh hang on - MJ's was about creating new material.

This is a scheme for writers with TV writing credits to get more TV writing credits, right?

Basically.

So is Marc P applying?

Yes, I for one am getting sick of all the new ideas and shows the College of Comedy has thrown up!

Marc P never applies himself to anything unless it's a pint of beer.
