I think about 4 people won over the course of about 8 or 9 years

It was visually more impressive than a ZX Spectrum game, but about 100 times less interesting than one (and I include Horrace Goes Skiing in my analysis).
Though it was a good gig for failed actors who could look vaguely convincing in some armour.
The Hugo was Hugo Myatt - he played Treguard. I liked his sidekick Pickle the elf. Some of the sequences were filmed at Castle Rising which, as the learned people here know, is a short bike ride from my house.
I wonder if they ever allowed any blind kids to play?
I used to watch it all the time during my D&D phase.
