I was only kidding about Beowulf before of course,,
But you are LUCKY if your books cost only around £18 a time. Technical books for IT & other technical issues cost typically £30 to £60 each.
As I look around the technical books surrounding me here at home, I realise yet again, what a fortune I have spend on such books; a quick calculation comes to at least £9000 possibly lots more.
Recently I bought the IEE Wiring regulations and its on-site guide and the pair cost me £75 at a special discount.
And unlike classics, technical books go out of date and you have to buy the same book again after some time.
>_<
But I have three years of buying millions of books. Mph.

Of course I wasn't being serious!
You had me worried for a minute. But each time I read it, the more the sarcasm was apparent.

I've got them in a treble with Michael Caine. Fingers crossed eh?
My money's on Bruce Forsyth or - wild card - Jimmy Hill.
As if they're different people.

I didn't notice I'd inadvertently listed two men who share a common chin. >_<

Exactly, when did you last see them in the same room together!
Ellie is officially colded up. Cough, sneezing, blocked nose, fuzzy head and swollen throat. Still in work though!

Oh morning Ellie btw How was you Marathon?
I'm being careful with tissues. And having lots of lemsips.
Half Marathon was good thanks. Seems an age ago now, but it was only 2 weeks ago.

I've had that for nearly two weeks now - so I sympathise. I had to carry on working too.
It's pretty crap, but I can still function (just about) so I can't be off work.
