Surely it's 'Wacky Races' with Dick Daast-Ali?

Ellie's friend's best friend collapsed and died on Monday. She was 27 and had 2 children, and it was extremely sudden. They don't know why. It's made her really appreciate how amazing her friends are to her.
It's a cartoon type thing, Ben. With Ray Winstone? Angelina Jolie is Grendel's mother in it.

Oh that thing. I thought you meant like a proper cartoon.

How tragic.

That's really quite awful. Very sorry to hear that, Ellie.
Horrible hey?
She was such a lovely girl, only saw her a month ago for a fun night of bowling.
Thanks for the paste, Tim. I'll read it shortly. Currently watching the bill in the Lords. http://news.bbc.co.uk/democracylive/hi/house_of_lords/newsid_8167000/8167412.stm
To clarify to the previous, the copyright bits in the Digital Economy Bill cover EVERYTHING, not just music, Ellie. Text, photos; in theory, because passages of books can be found through Google searching, it could be shut down. Anyone who is in support of this bill (or rather, these particular clauses) really should be behind bars, as they are criminally insane.
Deep sympahties.
I'm not behind it Aaron, I just don't feel the need to post all over here how strong my thoughts are on it for example. I don't know enough to be for or against.
Sorry to hear Ellie
A typical New Labour sledge hammer to crack a reasonable walnut.
The technological edge and social acceptability of IP theft is potentially extremely damaging. But lumpen legislation is not the answer.
In the same way refugee prisons for families, mercenary traffic wardens and pupils spying on teachers weren't either.
The maddening thing is these are all really important areas of ogvernment. Perverted by sloppy poorly thought through legislation.
David is being asked to become a fan of 'Bullying UK'. I'm going to take a stand and say no!
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ April 8 2010, 3:03 PM BSTClearly as important as all this that you're discussing. I feel queasy and am re-reading Beowulf.
Well at least the copyright on Beowulf has expired, has it not.
Hmmm 70 years after death of author unless author is immortal..
Limited Liability Companies are essentially immortal and can hold copyright by this fudge for many more than 70 years.
Hmm, time to create "Long-Known Legends Limited" and fake its inauguration papers to be many hundreds (thousands) of years ago and then produce 'proof' that we wrote Beowulf and therefor it is still in copyright..
Then send warning letter to Robyn for copyright infringement and cut off her broad band,,
