Missing the UK

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but a couple of weeks ago I got home from a trip to England, Scotland and France. I was in the UK for about 3 weeks, and France for about 2 weeks.

I had a great time in the UK, I loved a lot of the small country towns, and was very pleasantly surprised by London. The South-West coast reminded me a lot of Tasmania, as did the lowlands of Scotland. Same countryside, just different buildings lol.

I'm already planning a trip back in a couple of years, but it's just not soon enough! Teary

Hey Cauldron chick...having just got back from spending 8 months in Aus...i can honestly say how much i miss Aus... i loved living there. There's nothing like home though...and you're right -i love the small country towns for their history and lovely buildings.

COME BACK SOON! :)

It's Sesame Street that I miss - my childhood memories were shattered when Jamie Oliver shat his way across the TV and Cookie Monster declared that 'cookies are a sometimes food'.

Still actually love Andi Peters.
:$

Yes but now he looks like Arnie Peters.

I know!

Kind of exciting though isn't it?
No?
Just me then.

Andi Peters is like a real life "Carlton Banks", from 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'. I remember once, he interviewed The Fugees, and acted like they were the first black people (apart from his family), he'd ever met in his life.
