It's hardly a vote winner though is it.
General Election 2010 Page 15
A real contrast between the two speeches this morning. Brown was pretty clear on what he was offering, unlike Cameron who spouted his usual superficial claptrap.
The Tories should be showing us a real sense of direction by now, backed up with tangible policies. Instead, we get a constant stream of tiresome, vacuous soundbites. Yawn.

However if its a hung parliment. We could be doing it all again in four months.
Ha. The Conservatives might just about manage it, but there's no way Labour could afford to fight a second election. If they could, Brown would have called this one when they had a better lead.

It'll haunt Brown to his grave that he chickened out of calling an election not long after taking over from Blair. Then he'd have pasted Cameron.
He was never REALLY going to call that one. His ego and idea of immortality were never going to let him risk No. 10.
Vote for what you believe in. If you think your party of choice has no chance of winning, voting for a different party just to stop another getting in is almost as bad as not voting at all.
We should also ban opinion polls at least for the period during the electioneering process - they just influence the way the public votes rather than reflect true opinion.
Oh and young people make sure you vote. I don't care if the leaders are a bunch of old squares. If you don't vote they'll only listen to the fogies and make Werthers and Stairlifts tax free but create a %200 Justin Bieber tax.
I have no idea who or what Justin Bieber is, so I expect that a 200% tax on it would be a good thing.

I heard some "expert" say today that he expects turnout to only be around 40%.

If Dave Cameron was a 14 year old popstar that makes tweenagers squeal he'd be Justin Bieber.
Only worse.

That high? Surprises me.
Anyway. I'm not sure who I'll vote for. They've all swallowed the lies, cum and bribes from the "creative industries".

True enough, but I know for a fact that he dithered until the last possible minute; that's Gordon all over though.

I think I'm going to be sick !
As if he wasn't enough in life, we also have George Osbourne never mind Airbrush Dave!
Would you seriously let Osbourne near any of your family or friends?
I might just vote Labour. Sod it. I'm not political in the slightest but being a keen supporter of the BBC I'll be damned if the Tories get into power and unleash the evil being known only as James Murdoch (and his estranged father who looks like a prune that's been left outside on a hot day).

A little reluctantly perhaps, but certainly far sooner than Alastair Darling.
