Doctor Who... Page 403

As a small child I was quite enamoured, nay, even smitten, by Leela and Romana II (Liz Shaw, Jo Grant and Sarah Jane Smith never did much for me, let alone Nyssa or Tegan).

I think I was too young to properly appreciate Jo Grant (though I do remember THAT photo with the dalek). Sarah Jane though was my great boyhood crush (and is still amazing). Leela was a bit of a slapper, but had the leather thing going on and showed a lot of thigh. Romana II was a significant upgrade in Romana I. Nyssa and Tegan did nothing for me, but Adric was quite cute...

My dad is the only one in the family who doesn't love Dr Who.

Preferring Smith to Tennant.

Eh?

Preferring Smith to Tennant.

First time I noticed they have the same names as beers.

Eh?

(Oh dear, there'll be tears before bedtime... Errr)

I still maintain however good Tenant was he was working against some truly duff scripts no one could save.

Whenever Doctor Who came on my Dad hid behind the sofa, wanking.

Laughing out loud Laughing out loud

I did like Jo Grant though.
She was before my time, but I'd put her top of the list.

I thought it was a step up.
Especially as it was an introductary type episode.

Yes. By FAR the best first episode to a new series since the show returned.

Stepping through the vision of the old Doctors at the end, God, barf-enducingly cringeworthy. Keep that kind of thing to CBBC.

That bit was great.

Oh, and that assistant bird needs a new accent. Her current voice makes me wish I was deaf.

That's her proper accent! You're being Scottish-ist!

Quote: zooo @ April 4 2010, 12:19 AM BST

Eh?

Tis a wee bit early to say things like that really, yeah!

And some truly great ones!

Next will be Bodingtons.

There's a Jim Boddingtons in EastEnders at the moment*!! Maybe it'll be him!

*There isn't.

Better than Tennant's first episode? Are you both mental and retarded?

:)

Actually, I went and forgotted, Tennants first was the Christmas one wasn't it, not the one in the future hospital. Okay, my mistake, that Christmas special was brilliant. Actually, wait a second, what I said still stands, as that special wasn't the first episode of a new series! Umm.

Girl in short skirt giant floating eye some cheap cgi snake thing. Yeh man twas a keeper!

Specials don;t count.

They really could have spent an extra tenner on that snake, couldn't they? Pity.
