Shows that you remember but no one else does! Page 7

The James Whale Radio Show. It used to go out on Fridays on ITV at about midnight. It was rather racy.

Didn't he get in a punchup with some guests? And get banned for some spurious bit of PC nonsence?

I think I saw that a couple of times.

I remember him being a cock.

Remember The Greatest American Hero, and Crazy Like a Fox?

Yes, it was quite an interesting show, and more intelligent than the half naked women on it would lead you to believe.

And fat detectives? Pie in the Sky, Cannon, Jake and the Fatman.

I loved Pie in the sky. It was all that food there and talk of it that interested me.

And doesn't Griffith seem just a really nice bloke?

There's a similar thread about kids programmes.

What about adverts? Does anyone remember the adverts for Kellogg's Banana Bubbles?

Nicky Campbell's safe then !

What do people think of Talksport's Ian Collins? He makes me laugh sometimes, because of the way he seems to think he's a proper celebrity. You can just tell he lies in bed at night crying into his pillow, wishing he was on TV, just like a lot of these radio presenters probably do.

Partridge (a former radio sports reporter) was drawn from the very real, very bitter truth.

Talking of post-midnight fare with 6 viewers: The Hitman and Her. Pete Waterman and Michela Strachan in a different nightclub each week.
