Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 7 Page 5

Yes, it was brilliant, pissing on Jesus's eye was very funny. This against all the odds is probably the best series he's done yet. I'd say the fourth episode was pretty weak but every other one has been a classic.

It was a corker wasn't it? I just love the banter between Jerry and Larry, I could watch them two trying to make each other laugh for hours. The ending to this episode was brilliant too. :)

Agreed they were terrific, in fact Gerry Seinfeld was much funnier playing himself in Curb than he is playing Seinfeld in Seinfeld (I think that's right).

Also enjoyed Jason Alexander who was even more of a total asshole than Larry David is at his worse moments.

Watch Larry and Jerry taking the micky out of his book 'Acting without acting' was hilarious.

Leon round at Michael Richard's place as a black Jew in his Farrakhan outfit waffling on about his disease was also a highlight of the series.

Just watched this series, what a classic. Every episode is just brilliant, definitely my favourite series yet. And the finale episode totally "made up" for the poor finale in Seinfeld. It would have been a really good way to finish the show, but I hear they are making an eighth series. Hope it maintains this quality.

Ricky Gervais is likely to appear in season 8. So its quality or otherwise might depend on your feelings re Gervais. Personally I love him so it's all good.

Not his biggest fan, but he'll probably be good in it. I didn't really think Coogan was good in it though, so who knows. I hope Seinfeld sticks around and does a few more, really enjoyed him in season 7.

I thought Coogan was pretty decent in it. I enjoyed his episode a lot. One of the best of Season 6.

I thought it was a great episode, particularly for this exchange:

Leon:
OK, so I grab the purse, Larry tackles me, I f**k Larry up and I keep on rollin'.

Larry
What?

Leon:
Someone needs to get f**ked up here, Larry.

What Chip said. Though Season 6 was generally not very good the Coogan bits were.

It's much better than the sixth one.

Agreed. It's one of the best of all the recent seasons, and merged "fact" and fiction beautifully. In fact it's hard to see how he could top it with Season 8, but it'll be fun watching him try.

I thought the series a bit spotty until I watched the handicapped episode and all was forgiven. A real return to form. Larry running upstairs to avoid the wheelchair women was Curb at its best.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" has a quality that most other sitcoms don't have and it is the ability to amuse us even in reruns! This happens because of Larry David's tremendous intelligent approach to comedy.

The DVD for Season 7 is out on June 7th. I'm looking forward to seeing it all again, and I hope one of the extras is a cobbled together Seinfeld episode.

So it is. And fifteen quid on Play. Mmm.

Watched the first two episodes yesterday; brilliantly funny! A very strong opening to the series. I love the fact Funkhouser's (And how good a name is that) mental patient sister is called Bam-Bam.
