Shows that you remember but no one else does! Page 2

North Square. A cracking Channel 4 legal drama that lasted one measerly series before being axed. And talking of great C4 shows cut off in their prime: Ultraviolet. Great little vampire show.

Ultraviolet. Great little vampire show.

Oh yes - Jack Davenport from Coupling was in it

Underwolrd by Andy Hamilton. A stone cold classic, but never repeated and never released on DVD.

Angelo's: Sharon Horgan, Shelley Longworth, Steve Brody, Paul Kaye. Very funny, but seldom repeated and never on DVD :(

Oh yes, a great series and - despite my memory believing otherwise - I do have it on DVD :-)

Showing my age & not actually comedy but, "Children of the stones" was a very surreal teatime series in the 70's.

Was there a kids show called "The Biz" on at some point? I can only remember the title sequence and I've no idea what it was about now.

I was more a "playdays" kind of girl (up until a disturbingly late age as I remember...)

I actually have that on DVD! Very creaky FX and full of clunky exposition, but it still sends a tingle down the spine.

Yeah!
It had that northern boy in it who ended up as a mental in EastEnders.

Oh God. :(

It was mostly about giving obnoxious stage school kids something to put on their c.v. until they were old enough to be in The Bill.

Ooh, I didn't know Siobhan Redmond (her off Holby City) had a comedy pedigree. I mean, I saw her in The Catherine Tate Show, but I didn't know she did comedy.

What about The Smoking Room, Tim?

The High Life?

(And numerous other bit-parts.)

Was she in that then? I didn't watch it much really, so I don't remember. Twas OK I suppose.

I've always found Holby City hilarious in its own way, so that's enough proof for me.

Anyway... I didn't realise that Ben Elton had done comedy?

Give it up, Tim.
