Getting into a nightclub

What do you think?

EXT. NIGHTCLUB - NIGHT

In a queue for a nightclub -- the bouncer letting people in. AMIR reaches the front of the queue.

BOUNCER looks him up and down.

BOUNCER
Sorry, mate, not tonight.

Amir is wearing a vest strapped with sticks of dynamite.

AMIR
What? Why not? Come on, I'm meeting my friends in there.

BOUNCER
Trainers aren't allowed.

Amir is wearing white trainers.

Or another version

EXT. NIGHTCLUB - NIGHT

In a queue for a nightclub -- the bouncer letting people in. AMIR reaches the front of the queue.

BOUNCER looks him up and down -- AMIR is wearing a vest strapped with sticks of dynamite -- the bouncer waves him into the club.

The man behind AMIR steps forward wearing a football shirt.

BOUNCER
Sorry, mate. Not tonight.

Bouncer points to a sign: NO CAPS OR FOOTBALL SHIRTS.

Think I prefer the second one. :)

Second one is much better...
Could be a series though, with the bloke getting let in being more and more random. (also moves it away from what at present is quite a risky racist sketch)

So base the sketch around the guy who DOESNT get let in, if you know what I mean.

EXT. NIGHTCLUB - NIGHT

In a queue for a nightclub -- the bouncer letting people in. STEVE is second in the queue behind a pantomine horse

BOUNCER looks the horse up and down, the bouncer waves him into the club.

Steve steps forward wearing a sheepskin coat.

BOUNCER
Sorry, mate. Not tonight. No trainers

STEVE -- Pointing at the pantomine horse
But..... him.....

Bouncer points to a sign with a sillouette of a horse with a green tick, and a sillouette of <steves appearance> with a red X next to it

The second one works well and is a funny little quickie.
