It was good, they became friends. :)

Nice use of sarcasm.

True, but I find that quite endearing. I do think he's better when it's just him, though.

I like Brooker, although he woud be awful in this role.

I like Brooker too. Great Political activist,
Groovin' musician, loving father and let's not forget mighty wrestler!!
Where will his talents take him next. Good old Brooker.

A) A Chair

B) A bucket of cat vomit

kjs

Interesting use of location location location.

What about Chris Evans - has he still got it?

Yes but he hides it very well in his ginger wig :P

Kermode and Mayo should definitely do Film 2010 as a filmed version of the 5Live show - good chemistry and Mayo is good at puncturing Kermode's occasional pomposity. They're wasted on their little Culture Show segment. Think I would tire of Brooker pouring witty scorn onto everything every week (and not sure how the smiley cast interviews would work!) - Screenwipe is the perfect outlet and he should stick to it.

As for his other show, just axe it . . .

I quite like Ross so I wouldn't replace him. If forced, I'd go for Simon Dee for the chatshow, and Barry Took on the film programme.

Via Derek Acora. That would be great!

Same here. I like him so would be sad to get rid of him.

I would probably replace him with Gary Glitter, at least he'd be glad of the work and would do it for next to nothing. Another plus, no one would watch it so I could axe the show and replace it with repeats of 2point4 Children and save lots of money for the BBC!

Oh blimey.

Claudia Winkleman is replacing him on Film 2010!

:O

I actually really like her as a presenter. But as far as I know, she knows nothing about film. Evidently the BBC are going in a new direction with it now.

And that direction would appear to be down the plughole.

At least I can start watching again now. I don't mind the Winkleman and will give it a go.

Haha. A different audience, certainly.

To be honest, I used to watch it religiously when I was younger, but stopped ages ago. And I will watch at least one with her in it, so it's sort of working... :/
