Quote: zooo @ March 26 2010, 12:56 PM GMTDavid Shneider (woo!)
I met David Schneider last year and shook his hand. He's smaller than I imagined, but still a fine, fine man.

Ha! I do actually. I didn't know he had a brother though.

Yes, he is rather small. I didn't touch him but he seemed lovely.

Was he wearing glasses?
No, I don't think he was.
Does this mean he was an imposter?

I doubt it, but who knows? Perhaps there's a factory somewhere which is producing 1000s of counterfeit Schneider every day...
Anyway, what did the night consist of? Performances of sitcoms?
Robyn just finished reading The Mayor of Casterbridge and is wondering what to do next.

Put it on ebay, the Robyn!
Or return it to the library.
Neither! I mean work-wise.

Yep. Six 20 minute readings of sitcoms.

Wow! Sounds like the Sitcom Trials, but I doubt it was hosted by a Peter Davison lookalike.
Was there anything that stood out?

I'm sure you'll find something to do, the Robyn. I'm surprised that you don't have some sort of timetable though. You seem the well organised type.
I can't do that - I have to choose what I do according to my mood. Like, I don't feel like essay-ing right now, but I do feel like reading. The only reading I have left, however, has to be researched a lot before I can do it, because it's related to essay-ing.

They were all really good. 5 of the 6 I could easily see working as sitcoms on screen.

Oh right.

I look forward to seeing them and judging your taste, zooo.
