Chip on train. Eating sandwich seductively.

No you were not, you were typing away on your phone. I could see you through your phone-cam.

Cool. I like it. I feel like the living dead or something.

Weeel, you do look a bit ghostly in your avatar.

Ellie is officially going to become IT support for the office. Training begins soon.

Doing IT support is not really a good alternative to boredom. You will spend most of your time drumming fingers, counting down Microsoft minutes (which are 3 to 5 times as long as real minutes) watching programs install or Windows re-install or doing backups.

If you have a server based system it is slightly less boring.

Still you can read the BOFH reports while waiting and plot your revenge on lusers.

Your most common sentence will become "Shut it down, then turn it off then wait 20 seconds and turn it back on, then when it is ready, login again and see if the problem is still there."

Tim has been reading today's argument in Critique with much enjoyment. :)

My son and I just shoveled 6 cubic yards of compost into a wheelbarrow and spread it over my lawn. My back is not happy with me.

A cubic yard sounds a lot, but I am going to get a bag of compost tomorrow & do a bit of gardening over the weekend.

Aaron is tired, but had a good night at the Beeb. This year's College of Comedy seems to have been even more successful than the last. I don't think that any of the writers are members here, but nonetheless, well done to all.

Yes, there were some very funny scripts.
And zooo saw famouses so all is well.

Has this been cut now? Wasn't advertised this year :(

A true athlete wouldn't fly to the half marathon, but walk or jog there, by way of a warm-up. Unimpressed

(Good luck. ;))

Was Jdubya (John Warburton) from that intake?

Was Jdubya (John Warburton) from that intake?

Wasn't he in the first one? I think? Maybe?

I wonder if they'll do this a third time.

I don't think I've asked before, but why are you going to Berlin to run a half marathon and not just do the one in, say, Reading? (although I fear that question answers itself)
