I like it when Tim gets intellectual.

That's very kind of you, Ben, but I really don't have a clue what I'm talking about most of the time. When you get into your mid-thirties it's just a lot easier to sound authoritative about stuff.

I'm feeling the love though.

And I like it when you call Robyn, "the Robyn". :)

I got home to a letter from David Cameron. Asking me to vote for change in 2010. I didn't think he knew me.

:D
I got a letter from my local Labour MP inviting me to afternoon tea with Ross Kemp.

Just got home from the science fair with son Connor. He didn't win a prize, however the lovely object of his affections (at the moment) did win and he was on Cloud 9.

Awwww. I like Connor. Though whenever you tell stories about him I do imagine him wandering around with his hair as wild as it was in your avatar.

Aw, bless him. :)

If he doesn't get it cut soon he will be wandering around like that. He's reluctant to get it cut though. The young lady mentioned earlier told him that she likes his hair longer. :)

Cuute.

We need a pic of Connor's current 'do'.

I'm working on it...but he's going through a no picture phase.

Aww. I can sympathise, I'm currently in a 20 year long no picture phase.

Heh. This is where I get puzzled.
If he's trying to dress like a woman then he should be told that no woman would wash her car in heels!

But maybe that's not strictly what he's trying to do/be.

I can't even begin to describe the horror I experienced when he accidentally splashed himself, herself, whatever... Sick

Silly sausage. Console

Me too, ever since chemo. Never a big fan of it to begin with though. :(

The worst thing that could possibly happen to the Labour Party is for it to actually win the election, then have to deal with the consequences of their economic mismanagement. Their best plan would be to wreck the economy as much as possible before May 6th (disguising the worst of it until then), then regroup over the next five years whilst the public (and they in opposition) throw shit at the Conservatives who will have to do the dirty work.

But don't they always? Hasn't every Labour Government left office with the economy in a complete wreck, millions/billions of pounds in debt? Happened in 1979. Didn't Cameron point out that the COMBINED defecits of all of those Governments were (in real terms?) still smaller than the present one?

I heard an interesting recent quote, which is attributed to Mandelson speaking about the post-election scenario, which reflects the psychosis of Brown: he apparently said, "You don't think Gordon will let a little thing like an election defeat stop him, do you?"

:D That does sound very Mandy.

I don't think it's too unfair to say that throughout their history in government (and in opposition, frankly) Labour's 'Plan A' about any issue has always been Spend Lots Of Money On It. Unfortunately, in all the time they've been around they don't seem to have ever formulated a 'Plan B'.
