I fear BB is saying indirectly that her stuff isn't good enough to be performed.

Badge, my two comedy plays were produced on London Fringe by my own efforts, I am good enough but not good enough to fight off cliques

I'd back Badge here. Although I don't take part in the Skit Comp, most weeks I will have a read of the entries. I find myself pretty much always agreeing with which sketches get the most votes. The most original, cleverest, best written and - frankly - funniest, generally seem to triumph, IMHO. 
Then my fears were unfounded. Surprised you managed it though - those fringe theatres only tend to put on stuff by their mates

Being a northerner it was even more difficult but I guess you're a favourite on here badge and feeling the 'voted because I'm 'in' embarrassment'
I got my plays on with a producer I'd never met. he liked my plays and at great expense produced them...and to great acclaim, the beeb loved 'em.
P.S to me the only talented sketch writer on here is Kasm and Soojy

I was only pointing out the circular argument BB - you say there are cliques everywhere yet you've got your stuff staged on merit. Well done on that. Maybe, therefore, your submissions to the comp might be judged on merit as well?
This thread is starting to sour the Comp a bit for me.
I'm sure I've won before with sketches that weren't necessarily the best, but I hope that a few have deserved it.
And I haven't always voted for the sketch that's the most professional, just the one that's tickled me the most.
For me It's always been a bit of fun, post a sketch without fear of Critique, and then cast a vote at the end, shimples.

The only embarrassment I have is the suggestion I might be a favourite 
I hardly ever enter the skit comp and when I do I very rarely get any votes. I tend to think that's because other people thought there were better submissions that week.
